Prong Rivets - Flat Round

Prong rivets add subtle detail to leather handbags,  belts,  shoes,  shop aprons,  and furniture covers.  The minimalist design and smooth finish blend well with most fabric materials.  The shiny finish of these fabric fasteners adds to the durable life span by offering protection against corrosion.  They are manufactured with quality materials that withstand tough handling,  ensuring a long-term use.  Incorporating pointed legs,  these belt rivets easily cut through the material, which can be folded to tie the fabric together securely.

FEATURES:

  • Sewing Tool:  Designed with expertise,  these prong studs bring functionality and an artistic element to various products such as shoes,  handbags,  belts,  jackets,  and canvas items.
  • Durable Construction:  Made with premium quality materials,  these fabric prong rivets ensure durability and longevity.  The sturdy structure does not lose its shape or gets deformed when slight pressure is applied.
  • Easy To Use:  The flat prong studs pierce through the material easily.  They can be secured in the given position by bending the legs to tie the fabric together.
  • Applications:  Widely used to embellish a range of products,  the decorative prong rivets are used in designing jewelry,  sails,  aprons,  furniture covers,  and canvas signage.

Sold in Packs of 100 or 1000.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
