New-Tech HA-441

is a specialized extra-heavy-duty sewing machine built for the most demanding projects. Featuring a large cylinder bed and a powerful compound-feed (walking foot) mechanism, it easily handles thick leather, heavy webbing, and multi-layered synthetics. With its massive barrel shuttle hook and high presser foot lift, the HA-441 provides the torque and clearance needed for 3D items like saddles, holsters, and heavy-duty bags.

  • Triple-Feed (Compound) Mechanism: The needle, feed dog, and presser foot move in unison, ensuring thick materials are fed perfectly without slipping or uneven stitching.
  • Extra-Large Barrel Shuttle Hook: Equipped with a high-capacity bobbin designed specifically for extra-thick threads (up to size #415/V415), reducing the frequency of bobbin changes.
  • Large Cylinder Bed Design: The 16.5" long arm and slim cylinder bed allow for easy maneuvering of tubular or shaped items such as boots, bags, and saddles.
  • Extreme Presser Foot Lift: A massive 20mm (knee) lift clearance allows you to position thick leather stacks or heavy climbing gear with ease.
  • Exceptional Piercing Power: Designed to sew through materials up to 7/8" (23mm) thick without losing stitch consistency.
  • High-Torque Servo Motor: Includes a heavy-duty, adjustable-speed servo motor that provides maximum torque at low speeds—essential for precision leatherwork and "stitch-by-stitch" control.
  • Max. Sewing Speed: 800 Stitches per Minute (SPM)
  • Max. Stitch Length: 11mm
  • Needle Bar Stroke: 56mm
  • Presser Foot Lift: 12mm (Hand) / 20mm (Knee)
  • Needle System: 7x3 (DYx3) / #24 to #27
  • Thread Size: Up to #415 (V415 / B415)
  • Hook Type: Large Barrel Shuttle Hook
  • Cylinder Length: 420mm (16.5 inches)
  • Motor: 750W High-Torque Electronic Servo Motor (110V)
  • Lubrication: Manual (With central oiling points)

The HA-441 is the ultimate tool for heavy-duty craft and industrial manufacturing:

  • Equine & Tack: Saddles, harnesses, bridles, and horse blankets.
  • Leather Goods: Knife sheaths, gun holsters, heavy belts, and leather boots.
  • Safety Gear: Climbing harnesses, tow straps, and heavy-duty webbing.
  • Upholstery: Heavy-weight furniture corners and structural automotive trim.

U.S. WARRANTY:

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
