JUKI MEB-3900 Series

represents the pinnacle of eyelet buttonholing technology. Purpose-built for high-volume production of jeans, cotton pants, and workwear, this computer-controlled system combines extreme speed with digital precision. Featuring a direct-drive AC servomotor and an air-driven cloth cutting knife, the MEB-3900 significantly reduces machine cycle time while minimizing noise and power consumption. With IoT integration and an intuitive digital interface, managing complex stitch patterns and maintaining consistent quality across your entire production line has never been easier.

  • MEB-3900J: Specifically optimized for heavy-duty denim and jeans.
  • MEB-3900C: Ideal for cotton trousers, slacks, and industrial workwear
  • Superior Productivity: Reaches a maximum sewing speed of 2,500 sti/min with an ultra-responsive air-driven cloth cutting knife that operates faster than conventional mechanical models.
  • Direct-Drive Technology: The compact AC servomotor is connected directly to the main shaft, providing instant startup, precise stopping accuracy, and a vibration-free working environment.
  • Digital Tension Management: Features an "Active Tension" mechanism that electronically controls needle thread tension. Settings can be customized for different sections of the buttonhole (eyelet vs. parallel) to prevent thread slip-off.
  • IoT & Smart Connectivity: Manage sewing data and machine parameters via the JUKI Smart App (Android) or USB. Easily copy settings across multiple machines for uniform production quality.
  • Enhanced Ergonomics: The redesigned machine head offers a wider workspace under the clamps and improved visibility around the needle entry point, perfect for handling heavy denim or bulky workwear.
  • Advanced Thread Trimming: Choose between overall thread trimming (prioritizing speed) or needle thread trimming, both designed to eliminate manual adjustments when changing sewing lengths.
  • Application: MEB-3900J: JeansMEB-3900C: Cotton Pants and Working Wear

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
