is an advanced, programmable shape-tacking machine designed for high-speed, repetitive pattern sewing. Featuring a60mmx100mmsewing area, this machine allows manufacturers to automate complex tacking tasks, such as attaching labels, sewing VELCRO®, or reinforcing structural seams. With its high-precision stepping motor and user-friendly digital control, the LK-1910 ensures every stitch is identical, significantly increasing production speed and quality consistency.
The "Shape-Tacking" designation makes this machine a bridge between a standard bar-tacker and a full-scale pattern sewer. If your production involves attaching items of a specific size repeatedly, the LK-1910 removes human error and ensures that every piece leaves the factory with perfectly uniform stitching.
Fastener Attachment: High-speed application of VELCRO® strips, elastic bands, and webbing.
Labeling: Precise attachment of brand labels, care tags, and embroidered patches.
Reinforcement: Structural tacking for bag handles, pocket corners, and footwear.
Decorative Tacking: Specialized ornamental patterns on denim, leather goods, and sportswear.
Programmable Shape-Tacking: Capable of storing and executing complex stitch patterns beyond a simple bar-tack, including circles, squares, and custom geometric shapes.
Large Sewing Field: Offers a generous 60mm (length) x 100mm (width) sewing area, providing versatility for various label and fastener sizes.
Active Tension Technology: Features electronic thread tension control, allowing for different tension settings within a single pattern to accommodate varying material thicknesses.
Direct-Drive Efficiency: The integrated compact AC servomotor provides instant start/stop response, reduced power consumption, and near-silent operation.
Oil-Free Head: Advanced dry-head technology (on the needle bar and thread take-up) prevents oil stains on finished products, making it ideal for high-end apparel.
User-Friendly Panel: The digital interface allows for easy pattern selection, speed adjustments, and stitch-count tracking at a glance.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs
What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?
The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.
Where does the machine oil go?
A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.
What kind of oil does this machine require?
You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.
What size table can I get with this machine?
Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.
Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?
No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
