JUKI LK-1900C

is the industry’s premier high-speed electronic bartacking system, achieving a world-class sewing speed of 3,300 stitches per minute. As a "Juki Sustainable Product," this machine is engineered to maximize productivity while reducing power consumption by 25% compared to previous models.

The LK-1900C features a Direct-Drive system and a fully integrated control box within the machine head, freeing up valuable table space. With its Active Tension (electronic thread tension control) and a built-in LED Marking Light, this machine ensures perfect stitch quality and precise placement every time—making it the definitive choice for high-volume garment reinforcement.

  • Unrivaled Productivity: Reaches a maximum speed of 3,300 sti/min with significantly faster thread-trimming and foot-lifting cycles to minimize downtime.
  • Active Tension (Electronic Control): Digitally set, save, and recall thread tension settings for different fabrics and speeds, ensuring consistent quality across all production lines.
  • Integrated Head & Control Panel: The control box is built directly into the machine head. The upright LCD panel allows operators to adjust patterns without looking away from the workspace.
  • LED Marking Light: A built-in green LED crosshair facilitates perfect fabric alignment, reducing placement errors and rework.
  • Advanced Dry-Head Technology: The needle bar and take-up lever require no lubrication, eliminating the risk of oil stains on high-value garments.
  • 100 Pre-Programmed Patterns: Comes standard with 100 patterns (including radial, semilunar, and round tacks) and memory storage for up to 999 custom patterns.
  • Smart Factory Ready: Features a USB port for data management and optional NFC connectivity for wireless synchronization of machine settings via smartphone
  • Max Sewing Speed: 3,300 SPM (Stitches Per Minute)
  • Sewing Area: 30mm (L) x 40mm (W)
  • Stitch Length: 0.1mm to 10.0mm (0.1mm steps)
  • Work Clamp Lift: 14mm standard (Max 17mm via auto-lifter)
  • Needle System: DPx5 (#14) for Medium / DPx17 (#21) for Heavy-Duty
  • Memory Capacity: 999 Patterns / 500,000 Stitches
  • Lubrication: Semi-dry (Minute-quantity lubrication to the hook only)
  • Motor: 550W Compact AC Servo (Direct-Drive)
  • Apparel Reinforcement: Pocket ends, waistbands, crotches of slacks, and belt loops.
  • Intimate Apparel: Shoulder straps for brassieres and delicate foundation garments (F-type subclass).
  • Heavy-Duty Goods: Denims, workwear, and tactical gear using the high-penetration "H-type" subclass.
  • Labeling: Attaching brand labels and tags with high-speed precision.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
