The JUKI LH-3588A

is a cutting-edge, 2-needle lockstitch machine engineered for heavy-duty precision. This "G-type" model is specifically designed for jeans and heavyweight materials, featuring an Organized Split Needle Bar that allows operators to stop either needle independently. This makes it the premier choice for sewing sharp corners and intricate pocket details without overstitching. With its semi-dry head technology and energy-efficient servo motor, it delivers high-speed performance while maintaining a stain-free production environment.

  • Organized Split Needle Bar: Effortlessly disengage the left or right needle with a simple lever, enabling perfect 90-degree corner stitching and decorative angular seams.
  • Semi-Dry Head Technology: The needle bar section is completely oil-free, eliminating the risk of oil stains on your fabrics. Only a minute amount of clean oil is supplied to the hooks from a sealed tank.
  • 1.8x Large Capacity Hooks: Equipped with vertical-axis hooks that are 80% larger than standard hooks. This significantly reduces bobbin changes, increasing productivity during long production runs.
  • Enhanced Penetration Force: The revised thread path and needle feed locus provide a 32% increase in needle penetration power compared to conventional models—essential for multi-layered denim and canvas.
  • Silent Digital Servo Motor: Includes a 750W high-torque servo motor for total speed control, silent operation, and up to 90% energy savings over traditional clutch motors.
  • Advanced Tension Control: Features a unique JUKI tension controller that ensures well-tensed, consistent seams even when using extra-thick threads.
  • Model : LH-3588A (G-Type: Jeans/Heavyweight)

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
