  • Description
GoldStar Tool Sam Browne Button Stud & Screw is ideally used as a decorative accessory that securely holds two different surfaces together, without letting them slip off. The designer button-head studs are given a smooth finish that not just looks impressively beautiful but lends a classic touch to the overall appearance, once embedded. It holds two materials securely with the screw and can be used on bags, leather, crafts, clutch ribbons, purses, handbags, and belts, along with numerous other materials. The non-permanent application will allow you to change the rivet for color or design, whenever it is required. The material is sturdy enough to hold the fabrics without getting deformed when slight pressure is applied, rather these are designed to withstand normal wear and tear. Use a setting tool for proper alignment. It is widely used by the crafters for mixed media projects too.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
