Give an Extra Layer of Stability to The Fabric with Fusible Interfacing

GoldStar Tool Non-Woven Fusible Interfacing is one of the most suitable lining material that gives an additional support to the stretchy, extremely soft fabrics and finished garment. It helps to give shape to the detailed areas. This lightweight and soft fusible interfacing is made using high-grade and quality tested blend of fabrics that includes the 80% nylon and 20% polyester. This material is ideal to be used as a lining material; it has an adhesive back that gets activated when pressure or heat is applied to it. This fusible interfacing adds stiffness to the fabric. Cut the iron-on interfacing to desired size and lay glue side on the wrong side of your fabric followed by covering with a cloth and pressing it for at least 10 seconds with a hot iron. This activates the glue and attaches the fabric to the lining. You can use it for your DIY home sewing projects as well. Sold 100 (1 roll) yards.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
