Consew CN2093R-DD

is the modern evolution of the classic industrial zigzag. It features an Integrated Direct-Drive Servo Motor, which eliminates the noise and vibration of a belt-driven system while providing instant needle response. This machine is engineered for light-to-medium weight materials, offering a smooth drop-feed mechanism that produces perfectly consistent zigzag or straight stitches. Whether you are sewing intimate apparel, attaching lace, or manufacturing medical braces, the CN2093R-DD provides the speed and reliability required for a professional production line.

  • Integrated Direct-Drive Motor: The motor is mounted directly to the machine head, providing higher torque, 70% energy savings, and a much quieter work environment.
  • Versatile Zigzag & Straight Stitch: Features a simple lever mechanism to switch between straight stitching and zigzag, with a maximum width of 5mm (up to 8mm in specific subclasses).
  • High-Speed Operation: Capable of speeds up to 2,500 stitches per minute, ensuring high throughput for commercial garments.
  • Needle Positioner (Sync): The digital control allows you to set the needle to always stop in the "up" or "down" position, a vital feature for turning sharp corners and intricate zigzag work.
  • Large Workspace: The flatbed design offers a spacious area for handling fabric panels, elastic, and lace.
  • Adjustable Stitch Width and Length: Independent dials allow for precision tuning of the zigzag width and the stitch pitch to suit various functional or decorative needs.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
