Consew CM795EXT-H
is an elite-level industrial serger designed for high-speed seaming and overedging of medium to heavyweight materials. Featuring a True Safety Stitch, this machine simultaneously sews a 2-thread chainstitch and a 3-thread overedge, providing the ultra-strong seams required for commercial apparel and heavy textiles. The "EXT-H" designation represents the heavy-duty evolution of the 795 series, offering a reinforced build and an astonishing top speed of up to 7,000 SPM for maximum production efficiency.
While standard overlockers are limited to light and medium fabrics, the CM795EXT-H is built to handle the "heavy" side of production. Its combination of a True Safety Stitchand a heavy-duty feed system allows it to power through dense fabrics like canvas and vinyl that would stall a standard serger. If your production line demands both extreme speed and structural seam integrity, the EXT-H is the professional's choice.
- True Safety Stitch (5-Thread): Delivers an industrial-strength seam by combining a chainstitch and overedge—essential for garments that require high durability.
- Extreme High Speed: Engineered to perform at up to 7,000 stitches per minute, making it one of the fastest machines in the Consew lineup.
- Micrometric Differential Feed: Allows for precise control over fabric stretching or gathering, ensuring wavy-free seams on knits and pucker-free results on wovens.
- Filtered Automatic Lubrication: A fully automatic oiling system with a visual flow indicator and replaceable filter ensures all internal parts stay cool and lubricated during long shifts.
- Enhanced Noise & Vibration Reduction: Designed with a balanced internal drive system to maintain stability and lower decibel levels at high speeds.
- Energy-Efficient Servo Motor: The included 110V servo motor is silent when not in use and allows for precise speed limit settings—ideal for both complex detail work and flat-out production.
- Max Sewing Speed : 6,500 – 7,000 SPM (Depending on material)
- Number of Threads : 5 Threads (True Safety Stitch)
- Number of Needles : 2 (Double Needle)
- Stitch Length : Up to 3.8 mm
- Needle Gauge : 3 mm – 5 mm (Standard 2mm needle distance)
- Differential Ratio :1:0.7 ~ 1:1.7
- Presser Foot Lift : 5.5 mm
- Needle System : DC x 27
The CM795EXT-H is the workhorse for:
- Heavyweight Apparel: Ideal for manufacturing coats, denim jeans, and workwear.
- Mens & Ladies Wear: Standard for general seaming on woven shirts, trousers, and children's clothing.
- Industrial Fabrics: Capable of edging canvas, vinyl, upholstery fabrics, and lightweight leathers.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs
What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?
The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.
Where does the machine oil go?
A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.
What kind of oil does this machine require?
You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.
What size table can I get with this machine?
Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.
Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?
No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR
Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
They use up to 90% less power than clutch motors
They are 1/3 lighter than clutch motors
With a flick of the switch, you can reverse motor rotation
No parts to wear out or adjust
No matter how hard you press the foot pedal, the configured speed remains the same.
