Consew CM795-7-DD
is the ultimate high-speed production workstation. Combining a 5-thread "True Safety Stitch" with a state-of-the-art Direct-Drive Automatic system, this machine is designed to maximize operator efficiency. The "-7" designation indicates a fully automated suite, including automatic thread trimming and automatic presser foot lift, reducing manual labor and speeding up the assembly process. With the motor integrated directly into the head, you get a cleaner, quieter, and more powerful sewing experience.
Why Choose the CM795-7-DD?
While the CM795-DD offers the benefit of a direct-drive motor, the CM795-7-DD adds the "Intelligence" factor. By automating the most repetitive parts of the sewing cycle—lifting the foot and cutting the thread—this machine allows operators to finish more units per hour with significantly less fatigue. It is the gold standard for any business looking to modernize their production line.
- Fully Automatic Operation: Features an automatic thread trimmer and automatic presser foot lift, significantly reducing cycle time per garment.
- Integrated Direct-Drive Motor: The high-torque servo motor is built into the machine head, eliminating belts, reducing noise, and providing instant needle response.
- True Safety Stitch (5-Thread): Simultaneously sews a 2-thread chainstitch and a 3-thread overedge for the strongest industrial seams possible.
- Intelligent Control Panel: Adjust sewing speeds, set needle positioning (up/down), and toggle automatic trim settings with an easy-to-use digital interface.
- Sensor-Driven Accuracy: Equipped with sensors to detect fabric, ensuring precise trimming and lifting exactly when needed.
- Micrometric Differential Feed: High-precision feed adjustment prevents puckering or stretching on delicate knits and heavy wovens alike.
- Max Sewing Speed : 6,500 – 7,000 SPM (Stitches Per Minute)
- Automation Level : Fully Automatic (Trim & Lift)
- Motor Type : Integrated Direct-Drive Servo (110V)
- Stitch Type : 5-Thread True Safety Stitch (Type 516)
- Needle Configuration : 2 Needles
- Stitch Length : Up to 3.8 mm
- Differential Ratio : 1:0.7 ~ 1:1.7
- Needle System : DC x 27
The CM795-7-DD is engineered for maximum output in:
- High-Volume Apparel Manufacturing: Perfect for jeans, workwear, and heavy coats where speed is critical.
- Performance Sportswear: Handles synthetic materials with ease while providing the "stretch" required for athletic gear.
- Contract Sewing: The automatic features make it ideal for shops where consistency and high-speed throughput are required.
- Heavy-Duty Projects: Suitable for medium-to-heavy woven fabrics, light canvas, and upholstery.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs
What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?
The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.
Where does the machine oil go?
A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.
What kind of oil does this machine require?
You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.
What size table can I get with this machine?
Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.
Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?
No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR
Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
They use up to 90% less power than clutch motors
They are 1/3 lighter than clutch motors
With a flick of the switch, you can reverse motor rotation
No parts to wear out or adjust
No matter how hard you press the foot pedal, the configured speed remains the same.
