Consew CM793-7-DD

is the flagship "Full Function" model of the CM793 series. Unlike standard sergers, this machine features Full Automatic Functions including auto-thread trimming and an electronic foot lift. Powered by a Direct-Drive system—where the motor is built directly into the machine head—it offers unparalleled energy efficiency, near-silent operation, and a clutter-free workspace without drive belts.

This 3-thread high-speed industrial serger is engineered for precision edge finishing (overedging) on everything from delicate knits to light-medium wovens and vinyl.

Consew CM793-7-DD

is a "smart" industrial overlock machine designed for modern garment factories. By integrating the motor and automatic functions directly into the head, it removes the mechanical complexity of traditional machines. It is the ideal choice for businesses looking to increase output speed while reducing operator fatigue through automation.

  • Integrated Digital Panel: A user-friendly control panel allows for easy adjustment of speed, needle positioning, and automated cycles.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
