Consew 818-10DS Straight Knife Cloth Cutting Machine with Automatic Abrasive Belts Sharpener Comes With Table, Legs, Servo Motor and LED Lamp

Is the most popular cutting machines in the Garment Industry.  It's suitable for cutting all kinds of fabrics from thin materials to thick materials.  The "DS" version had a convenient Dual Speed Switch. The DS - dual speed version is available in 6", 8" and 10" sizes.

MACHINE FEATURES:

MOTOR

"DS": Dual Speed cutters come in  6" 818-6DS / 8"  818-8DS / 10" 818-10DS sizes

MOTOR
The motor is an originally developed motor. It assures a smooth cutting operation with excellent cutting power and low motor temperature.

AUTOMATIC OIL LUBRICATION DEVICE
Oil can be supplied automatically from oil reservoir to the guide metals and cross head. And the internal oil guard keeps other interior parts clean.

AUTOMATIC SHARPENING DEVICE
There is an abrasive belt sharpening device. Just press down the sharpening lever, and the blade can be sharpened automatically to maintain the most suitable edge of the blade.

STANDARD
Thinner and flat type Standard makes the resistance of cutting material lower, and bigger blade stroke makes cutting smoothly.

BASE PLATE
The base plate is low and the surface is smooth to make the material travel on it smoothly before and after cutting.

OTHER
Fan-guard and Starting switch cover are equipped for safety reason.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
