Consew 695EX

is a professional-grade, ultra-high-speed industrial overlock machine designed for high-volume garment production and finishing. Known for its exceptional stitch consistency and vibration-free operation, the 695EX is a staple in the apparel industry. This unit comes paired with a quiet, energy-efficient Servo Motor, providing the precise speed control and power needed to handle everything from lightweight knits to medium-heavy woven fabrics.

Consew 695EX

is a high-speed powerhouse designed for professional sewing environments that demand speed and reliability. It is an industry "workhorse" that combines traditional mechanical strength with modern electronic speed control. Whether you are seaming or overedging, the 695EX provides a factory-quality finish on a wide variety of materials.

  • Ultra High-Speed Performance: Capable of reaching speeds up to 7,500 Stitches Per Minute (SPM), making it one of the fastest machines in its class for maximum productivity.
  • Electronic Servo Motor: Replaces traditional clutch motors to offer 70% energy savings, near-silent operation when idle, and adjustable speed limits.
  • Fully Automatic Lubrication: A self-contained "oil-dry" system with a replaceable filter ensures internal parts stay cool at high speeds while preventing oil stains on the fabric.
  • Precision Differential Feed: Features a micro-adjustment dial to prevent puckering on thin silks or "waving" on highly elastic materials.
  • Easy Stitch Regulation: A simple push-button regulator allows the operator to change stitch lengths instantly without needing specialized tools.
  • Heavy-Duty Casting: Built with a reinforced frame designed for 24/7 industrial use and long-term durability.
  • Max Sewing Speed : 7,500 Stitches Per Minute (SPM)
  • Stitch Length : 0.5 mm – 3.8 mm
  • Overedge Width : 4.0 mm – 6.0 mm
  • Differential Ratio : 1 : 0.7 ~ 1 : 2.0
  • Needle System : DC x 27 (B27)
  • Presser Foot Lift : 5.5 mm
  • Motor Type : 550W High-Torque Servo Motor (110V)
  • Fabric Range : Light to Medium-Heavy Weight
  • Apparel Manufacturing: Perfect for seaming T-shirts, polo shirts, and casual wear.
  • Knitwear: Ideal for finishing edges on sweaters, sweatshirts, and jersey fabrics.
  • Activewear: Creates durable, flexible seams for leggings, swimwear, and athletic jerseys.
  • Home Textiles: Used for hemming linens, pillowcases, and lightweight drapery.
  • Industrial Overedging: Preventing fraying on raw edges of trousers, uniforms, and dress panels.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
