Consew 3321-194

is a high-speed, heavy-duty industrial sewing machine designed for precision assembly of thick and multi-layered materials. Utilizing a Double Thread Chainstitch (Type 401), this machine produces seams with superior elasticity and strength, perfect for items under constant tension. Its sophisticated triple-feed mechanism (drop feed, needle feed, and alternating presser feet) ensures uniform material flow, eliminating fabric shifting or uneven layers. Delivered with a professional-grade table and an energy-efficient Servo motor, it is the ultimate solution for automotive, upholstery, and apparel manufacturing.

High-Speed Heavy Duty Single Needle Two Thread Drop Feed Needle Feed Alternating Presser Feet Double Chainstitch Machine Comes With Table, Legs, Servo Motor and LED Lamp

With: Semi-Automatic Lubrication, Positive In-Line Looper System

  • Triple Feed Reliability: Combines needle feed, drop feed, and alternating presser feet (walking foot) to maintain absolute control over heavy or slippery fabrics.
  • Double Chainstitch (Type 401): Specifically engineered for seams that require stretch and durability; the two-thread chainstitch is stronger and more flexible than standard lockstitches.
  • Extreme Speed: Boosts factory productivity with a maximum operating speed of up to 3,500 stitches per minute.
  • Large Vertical Hook & Large Bobbin: Reduces the frequency of thread changes, allowing for longer continuous runs on large projects.
  • Extra-High Foot Lift: The 1/2" (13mm) clearance makes it easy to position bulky materials like thick leather, foam-backed vinyl, or multi-layered canvas.
  • Adjustable Stitch Length: Offers a wide range of stitch lengths (up to 4 stitches per inch) to accommodate different material densities.
  • Quiet & Efficient Servo Motor: The included 110V Servo motor provides near-silent operation and precise speed control while reducing electricity costs by up to 90% compared to clutch motors.
  • Stitch Type: Double Thread Chainstitch (401)
  • Maximum Speed: 3,500 SPM
  • Needle System: 135 x 17 (DPx17)
  • Maximum Stitch Length: 4 SPI (6.5 mm)
  • Presser Foot Lift: 1/2" (13 mm) by Knee / 5/16" (8 mm) by Hand
  • Needle Bar Stroke: 1-5/16" (33 mm)
  • Work Space: 10" x 5" (254 mm x 127 mm)
  • Motor: 110V Electronic DC Servo Motor
  • Automotive Interiors: Ideal for car seats, headrests, and convertible tops where seam flexibility is vital.
  • Heavy-Duty Apparel: Perfect for sewing heavy denim, workwear, uniforms, and specialized protective gear.
  • Upholstery: Designed for furniture manufacturing, including foam-backed fabrics and heavy vinyl.
  • Luggage & Tactical Gear: Handles the construction of backpacks, duffels, military vests, and heavy-duty straps.
  • Canvas & Synthetic Crafts: Used in the production of tents, awnings, and pool covers.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
