Consew 326S-UF

is a versatile, high-speed industrial sewing machine designed for heavy-duty applications requiring the strength and flexibility of a Double Thread Chainstitch (Type 401). Featuring an alternating presser foot (walking foot) and drop feed mechanism, this machine ensures superior material feeding for thick, multi-layered, or slippery fabrics. Its unique "tandem" needle capability allows for specialized stitching patterns, making it an essential tool for automotive interiors, luggage manufacturing, and heavy-duty apparel. This unit comes complete with a professional industrial table and an energy-saving Servo motor.

  • Versatile Needle Configuration: Capable of operating as a single-needle machine or a two-needle tandem setup for reinforced seams.
  • Double Chainstitch (Type 401): Produces a secure, flexible stitch that draws directly from thread cones, eliminating the downtime associated with winding and changing bobbins.
  • Walking Foot (Alternating Presser Feet): The synchronized movement of the presser feet prevents fabric layers from shifting, ensuring perfect stitch alignment on heavy materials.
  • High-Speed Performance: Engineered for industrial efficiency with a maximum speed of up to 3,500 SPM (Stitches Per Minute).
  • Automatic Lubrication System: Features a fully automatic oiling system to maintain internal components during high-speed, continuous operation.
  • Tandem Stitching: Ideal for specialized laps, piping, and decorative heavy-duty seams that require dual-needle precision.
  • Variable Speed Servo Motor: The included 110V Servo motor provides silent operation and precise control, using up to 90% less energy than standard clutch motors.
  • Stitch Type: Double Thread Chainstitch (401)
  • Maximum Speed: 3,500 SPM
  • Needle System: 135 x 17 (DPx17)
  • Maximum Stitch Length: 3.5 SPI (7.5 mm)
  • Needle Bar Stroke: 1-5/16" (33 mm)
  • Clearance Under Foot: 1/2" (13 mm) by Knee / 5/16" (8 mm) by Hand
  • Bed Size: Standard Industrial (7" x 18-7/8")
  • Motor: 110V Electronic DC Servo Motor
  • Automotive & Marine: Ideal for heavy-duty upholstery, car seats, boat covers, and safety restraints.
  • Luggage & Travel Gear: Perfect for seaming heavy canvas bags, backpacks, and leather suitcases.
  • Heavy Apparel: High-speed assembly of workwear, uniforms, denim, and multi-layer protective clothing.
  • Specialty Textiles: Used in the production of tents, awnings, and pool covers where long, continuous seams are required.
  • Upholstery: Reliable performance for furniture manufacturing using thick vinyl and foam-backed materials.

U.S. WARRANTY:

90 Days labor on defects in materials and workmanship.

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

THE ADVANTAGES OF A SERVO MOTOR

Because of the Servo motor speed control, most users find the machine more straightforward to use. Both beginning and seasoned sewers find this feature helpful when stitching projects that don't demand high-speed stitching.
