Test on scrap materials first. • To ensure proper adhesion, • All surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from dirt and dust. Wipe the backs of rhinestones to remove any dust or oil from handling. • Apply a glue dot to the back of the embellishment and gently position it on the surface. To avoid oozing and soak-through, don’t exert too much pressure. • When working with glitter, spread a thin layer of glue, sprinkle glitter over a wet surface, let dry and then shake off excess glitter. You can also draw designs or write with glue and follow the above instruction. • Keep feathers in place with a clothespin while the glue is drying • Wash fabrics before using to remove sizing, which can prevent proper adhesion. • Glue sets in a few minutes, depending upon humidity and temperature. The glue will firmly set in 30-60 minutes. Allow 24 hours to completely dry.
